As part of the ‘Ek Tarikh, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath Swachhata Hi seva’ campaign, A cleanliness drive was held at CJM school Kharghar on Sunday 1st October’23.
The students of class IX (SSC) and grade VII (ICSE), along with the principal of ICSE section and the teachers of the SSC and ICSE section and the non-teaching staff actively took part in an hour-long shramadan for the cleanliness drive. They collected all the garbage surrounding the campus. Nearly 10 bags of garbage were collected during the drive. This drive created mindfulness amongst everyone on their role as responsible citizens to keep their surroundings clean.
Keeping the importance of a healthy and productive atmosphere for learning, the steps taken by the Panvel Municipal government is highly appreciable and would truly take everyone towards the clean and globally green environment. The cleanliness drive ended with the national anthem.
