1st Week of Advent
Advent is a time to prepare our hearts and minds to welcome Christ’s second coming and to celebrate Our Lord’s birth on Christmas.
A special assembly for the first week of Advent was conducted on 28th November by the students of class VIII on the theme – ‘Lord be our Hope this Christmas.’
The assembly began with a meaningful prayer service in preparation for the Lord’s coming. A video was shown making the children aware of the
significance of the Christmas Wreath which stands for God’s eternal loving presence. Our Principal lit the first purple candle, the candle of Hope.
Students actively participated in praying by placing their intentions through the prayers of the faithful.
A beautiful skit depicting the message of having hope in God at all times was performed.
Students were asked to do good deeds during this season and bring hope in the lives of others.
