‘Parental love is the only love that is truly selfless, unconditional and forgiving’ CJM School, Kharghar, celebrated Parents Day on July 22nd, 2023 to commemorate the Feast of St. Anne and St. Joachim.
The day began with a Eucharistic celebration by the celebrant Rev.Fr.John Paul. The priest in his sermon reminded the parents of their commitment, responsibilities and unconditional love towards their children.A short but meaningful programme was presented to honour the parents and appreciate their efforts in bringing up their children.Students expressed their love and gratitude towards their parents by singing melodiously. A well-arranged programme spoke volumes about the depth of gratitude that the children owe to their parents for the manifold responsibilities, sacrifices and challenges they face daily in giving only the best to their children.
The students were well in advance asked to use their creativity and prepare parents day cards. The students presented these cards to their parents and it was an emotional moment to see them hug and kiss each other, a sign of affection among them and the healthy bond that they share with each other. The children expressed that they were truly blessed to be born in an amazing family and to have such lovely parents in their life.
The celebration ended on a happy note with both the parents and children promising to be there always for one another.
