The Religious of Jesus and Mary Congregation was founded on 6 th October 1818. To mark this historical event of Jesus and Mary Congregation and to commemorate this glorious day CJM Kharghar conducted a special assembly on Friday 6th Oct 2023.
The Assembly commenced highlighting the initiation of the Congregation of Jesus and Mary by our Mother Foundress- St. Claudine Thevenet instilling in students the values of Faith, Love and Forgiveness. A glimpse on the journey of the establishment of the Congregation was shown through a PowerPoint presentation. A video on St Claudine’s life and the various Missions carried on by the sisters of the Congregation were shown reflecting the values of compassion and mercy. Melodious Hymns on our Mother Foundress were also played. The Supervisor Ms. Lorina Fernandes further more elaborated about the Foundation of congregation of Religious of Jesus and Mary in India and their selfless works for the girls and women all over the world. The assembly ended with an insight about the life of St. Claudine by the Supervisor Ms. Lorina Fernanades.
