A special talk on Cyber Crime was organized for the students of the Secondary section from Std VIII to XII on 15th September 2022.
Senior Police Inspector, Mr Vijay Waghmare from Cyber Cell Crime Branch Navi Mumbai was the speaker for the day. Students were given very important information about various Cyber crimes that are prevalent these days. He emphasized on being vigilant using social media and never disclose personal details. Students were told to be careful while downloading different computer applications. Important helpline numbers and websites to contact cyber cells during trouble. Something that students will remember is the acronym PTA – Pause – Think twice – Act. A special screening on drug abuse was also shown to students at the end of the talk.
