Teachers’ Day is a special occasion that recognizes and appreciates the invaluable contributions of educators in shaping the future of students. At Convent of Jesus and Mary High School and Convent of Jesus and Mary International school this day was celebrated on 2nd September 2023 with great enthusiasm to honour and express gratitude to the dedicated staff.
The Teachers’ Day celebration was a memorable event, filled with various activities and heartfelt gestures. The celebration commenced with the anchors warmly welcoming the teachers, setting the tone for a day of appreciation and gratitude. A prayer service was held, emphasizing the spiritual aspect of teaching and its significance. A thought-provoking skit was performed, illustrating how teachers play a crucial role in every phase of a child’s life. This poignant presentation underscored the impact of educators on a student’s journey. The event was further enriched with lively and entertaining dance performances, adding a touch of joy and festivity to the occasion. A special prayerful service was conducted by Sr. Sheron Pereira and Sr. Shital Sardar.
The members of Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) organized fun and interactive games for the teachers. These games provided a delightful break from the routine and fostered camaraderie among the teaching staff.
A special lunch was arranged for the teachers with lots of love and appreciation by the Sisters of the community. The Teachers’ Day celebration served as a heartfelt tribute to the teachers, recognizing their unwavering commitment to education.
