On June 15, the students of Convent of Jesus and Mary High School, witnessed a glorious welcome back to school to begin the new academic year 2023-24 with new zeal and enthusiasm.
A special welcome assembly was conducted by the students of class X-A on the theme – ‘Hold my hand and lead me on.’
Students were asked to place their hands in the hands of God as they begin the new scholastic year 2023-24. A beautiful hymn was played reminding them to start afresh with new vigour and enthusiasm. A motivational mime on time management was presented by the students. A video depicting various values was shown to the students. Students actively participated in praying by placing their intentions through the prayers of the faithful.
The assembly ended with a beautiful thought,
“YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE GREAT TO START, BUT YOU HAVE TO START TO BE GREAT.”
