The 22nd Annual day of Convent of Jesus and Mary High school was held on 4th November 2023 at 8.30 am. in the school hall. The theme for the Annual Day was ‘Choose Right Shine Bright’. The spectators witnessed enthralling performance by the students imprinting the good memories in the mind. The chief guest for the programme was an eminent personality, Assistant Police Inspector Dr.Vishal Mane. He is also a Cyber Crime Expert. The guests of honours were the parents of the toppers of class X and XII of the academic year 2022-23.
The programme took its lead with the lighting of the lamp, a prayer dance and the melodious choir singing with one voice as the charm remained in the air. Then came the spectacular performances of students along with the musical on the theme ‘Choose Right Shine Bright’ that reminded everyone to use technology wisely. The centre of attraction was the display of the Annual report by Supervisor Ms.Lorina Fernandes giving a bird eye view of the activities done in the school.
The chief guest congratulated the students for their brilliant participation and to the teachers for training the students and bringing them to perfection. Being a Cyber Crime expert, he shared his insight on how to handle technology with utmost care. He also advised parents to allow their children to grow in all spheres of their life.
Sister Sheron, too in her words of appreciation congratulated the students on their excellent performance. Sister cited that the message conveyed in the theme was meaningful and appropriate.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Filomena thanking each and everyone who had contributed immensely for the success of the event and the spectators for being a wonderful audience. The programme came to an end with the national Anthem. On the whole a remarkable day to remember and cherish the good memories.
