A talk was organized for the students of Std X and Std XII, on Thursday 6th and Friday, 7th June 2019 respectively to make them vigilant about the menace of child abuse.
The resource person was Sr. Arina Gonsalves- Manager of both SSC & ICSE section of CJM Kharghar and a member of the Pontifical Commission for the protection of minors & vulnerable adults.
Sr. Arina explained to the students on different forms of abuse and its long term impact on survivors: Sister also discussed various measures to prevent and overcome such situations.
The sessions were interactive and students participated in the discussions. Sessions for helpers and office staff too were taken.
