Annual Sports Day -2023
The Annual Sports meet of our school was conducted with great enthusiasm on
Friday, 8th December 2023. The Chief Guest for the day was Mr. Kiran Anchan,
the Director of Sports S.V.K.M group of schools and N.M.I.M.S deemed
university.
Sr. Sheron Peirera welcomed the parents and started with a note of appreciation.
In Sister’s Speech she expressed her heartfelt gratitude to everyone present.
The meet began with the hoisting of the school flag, followed by the Torch
March and the March Past of the four houses.  Enthralling and energetic drills
such as Yoga, Aerobics, Lezim etc were performed by the students of classes V
to X.
The Chief Guest Mr. Kiran Anchan in his speech spoke about the importance of
sports in life and urged parents to encourage students as nowadays sports is also
a viable career option.
The finals of the 100 m Running Race and Relays were held. The Chief Guest
Mr. Kiran Anchan and the dignitaries, the principal of the ICSE section Sr
Sheron and Sr Rosemarie superior of the convent gave away the medals and
certificates. Fun filled races were also organized for the parents and helpers.
In the grand sports finale, students showcased the various sports that are
conducted in our school such as karate, basketball etc. A snapshot presentation
by students of various drills was performed.
This was followed by distribution of trophies to the individual champions and
the victorious houses. The Sports meet ended by a vote of thanks by the head
girl Miss Nishigandha Bangale followed by the National Anthem
