Children’s day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in our CJM high School and Jr.College ,Kharghar on 14th November 2022. The theme for the day was ‘You are the rainbow of our life’.The day is celebrated to pay tribute to the legendary freedom fighter and our first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru popularly known as Chacha Nehru. It was a day of fun and excitement for the students.Celebrations began with a prayer service conducted by the teachers followed by a colourful cultural program for the students . Principal Sr Victoria, the teaching and non-teaching staff of CJM displayed their talent by way of dancing and singing. A skit on the importance of observing traffic rules was very entertaining. The students were overwhelmed to see their teachers and cheered their teachers as they saw them on stage. To add more colour to the program a Jam session was organised for the kids. At the end of the program the vote of thanks was delivered by Ms Kimaya Kamble. Sweets and gifts were distributed to the students.The celebrations ended with smiles on everyone’s faces.
