FIRST ADVENT ASSEMBLY – THE HOPE
The season of waiting on the Lord began with lots of cheer and happiness. To
celebrate the Advent season the First Advent assembly was conducted on 4 th
December 2023, Monday in the school hall by the students of class VII A. The
theme for the assembly was Hope lights the way. The first purple candle of
advent was lit by Supervisor Ms. Lorina Fernandes. The assembly began with a
short prayer service followed by a meaning skit which insisted each one to light
the candle of hope in one's life. In this challenging world often people go
through emotional, physical and mental problems. To overcome this one must
have hope in God. The children displayed their performance and imbibed the
value of hopefulness. The ICSE Section Principal Sr Sharon Pereira addressed
the children and explained to the students the importance of Advent season and
how important it is to share the love of Christ with one another.
