To mark National Road Safety Month–2026 (January), with the aim of bringing about public awareness on traffic rules and to help reduce the number of road accidents, a Traffic Awareness Programme was conducted at CJM School, Kharghar on Wednesday 21st January 2026.
Students were educated on the theme:
“Road Safety is Everyone’s Responsibility”
The initiative aimed to spread awareness about safe driving practices and responsible road behaviour. The programme was graced by Mr. Mujawar Senior Police Inspector, who addressed students on the importance of following traffic rules: wearing helmets and seat belts, and driving with responsibility. The officer and his team provided valuable information on road safety rules, importance of traffic signs and signals and also suggested tips for safe driving. He also discussed road traffic control measures and the importance of safety rules through videos. The session was interactive in which students actively participated.
The initiative proved to be a valuable learning experience, instilling responsibility, civic sense, and a strong commitment towards safer roads among the students.
