Third Week of Advent – The Joy
Advent is the four weeks of preparation, anticipation as we wait to celebrate the
great feast of Christmas.
The third week focuses our intention on joy, it's a real and deep happiness that is
rooted in faith and trust. To bring in this happiness, a special advent assembly
on the third week of Advent was conducted on 18th December 2023 by the
students of class V A under the guidance of Ms.Deepa Prasad. The theme for
the 3rd advent assembly was 'JOY'. The candle of Joy was lit followed by a
meaningful prayer service. A melodious hymn played at the beginning filled
everyone's heart with gratitude.
A beautiful skit was also presented by the students depicting the value of
happiness in one's life.
A video depicting the value of Joy was shown to the students. The assembly
ended with a short concluding prayer. Sister Sheetal, finally gave a relevant
message reminding us of the joy that the world experienced at the birth of Jesus.
Supervisor Ms. Lorina appreciated the students of class V for their efforts in
presenting the skit and conveying the message of spreading joy everywhere.
