CJM school celebrated Independence day with great enthusiasm and pride. The theme ‘Saare Jahaan Se Achcha’ celebrating the 75th glorious years of Independence was brought out in the course of the day. A systematic March past was held by the Student Council members to escort and welcome the Chief guest Mr. Shantaram Londhe ,Law officer in the office of the divisional director of Education,Mumbai, Nasik, Kolhapur & Pune Region. National flag was hoisted which was followed by singing the National Anthem and Vijayi Vishwa Tiranga Pyara (flag song).
A prayer service including a prayer dance to pray for our motherland and her people was followed by a plethora of cultural programmes including beautifully rendered patriotic songs and brilliantly choreographed dances performed by the students instilling patriotism and national pride. Principal Sr. Victoria Sansare spoke on the significance of freedom and its value on this august occasion. Chief guest delivered a deeply enriching and patriotic speech. The programme ended with a vote of thanks.
