Celebrating Parents’ Day at CJM High School, Kharghar (27th July 2024)
‘Parents- An epitome of love’ , On Saturday July 27, 2024, Convent of Jesus and Mary High School, Kharghar, hosted a heartwarming Parents’ Day celebration, honoring the pivotal role parents play in shaping their children’s lives. The day was meticulously planned and executed to express gratitude and appreciation for the unwavering support and love parents provide.
The celebration commenced with a Eucharistic service led by Rev. Fr. Leon Mascarenhas. During his sermon, Fr. Leo emphasized the unconditional love that parents invest in their children. Following the spiritual start, the event transitioned into a lively and engaging programme. The students showcased their talents through a series of performances including songs, dances, and skits. In the lead-up to Parents’ Day, students had been encouraged to channel their creativity into making personalized cards for their parents. The presentation of these cards was a touching moment, marked by emotional hugs and kisses. This simple yet profound gesture highlighted the strong, affectionate bonds between parents and children, celebrating the cherished family connections.
