Our Nation’s 78th Independence Day

A very good Morning to respected Sisters, our esteemed teachers, helpers
and all my dear friends.
I am deeply humbled and honored to be invited as the guest of Honour on this momentous
occasion of our nation’s 78th Independence Day. I express my heartfelt gratitude for this
privilege. As I stand before you today, my heart swells with nostalgia overwhelmed with
emotions, returning to this sacred institution once again. Memories of laughter, tears and
triumphs flood my mind reminding me of the incredible journey I shared with this school.
From the nervous excitement of my 10th standard board exams to the pride of achieving my
goals, our school has been my constant companion and my guiding star. I thank the Manager of
our school. Sr. Diana Colaco, Sr. Sheron Pereia, the Principal of the ICSE section and the SSC
coordinator Ms. Lorina for their motivation, love, guidance and support. Today as we celebrate
our nation’s freedom, I am filled with gratitude for the freedom to think, to grow, to bloom and to
live which my school has so generously provided. I’m proud to be a part of this institution which
has shaped me into a responsible citizen. I thank the Almighty God for giving me the strength to
achieve my goal. My teachers played a vital role throughout my journey. I thank all my teachers
for their dedication, patience and Love. I owe a lot to them.
Teachers, you’ve been my pillars of strength and my beacon of hope. I am deeply grateful to
my parents for their unwavering support, unconditional love and constant encouragement.
And now to my talented juniors, I would like to say “embrace the journey not just the
destination.” Work hard and strive towards your goal with determination and resilience. With the
help of God, you will surely get what you want. Follow the footsteps of our Mother Foundress
St. Claudine Thevenet by being courageous, humble and by bringing forgiveness and peace
everywhere you go. And always remember to uphold the honour of our school.
Last but not the least, let us celebrate our Independence Day with heart, with soul and with a
commitment to make a difference. May our freedom be our strength and unity be our power.
Wishing you all a Very Happy Independence Day!
Jai Hind Jai Bharat
Thank You!.
